Using Metadata Manager with an existing title (example)

Submitted by: Tiffany Bogich, Mar 11, 12:41

Hello,
I’m trying to use the new metadata manager tool with two existing publications (we have been using the web deposit form previously). When I try to add the titles I’m getting an error that they already exist. I’d love to be able to use metadata manager with my two existing titles if possible. Thanks! - Tiffany

Hi Tiffany,

Thanks for your request. You may use Metadata Manager to register metadata for existing publications, but you must first add them to your workspace. You do this by searching for the publications using its title in the top-left corner of the workspace in the search box labeled “search publication”.

Please review section two “an overview of your workspace” of our help documentation to learn more: https://0-www-crossref-org.lib.rivier.edu/help/metadata-manager/

Please let me know if you encounter any other problems.

My best,
Isaac
